American Legion #209

Neal Thomas Jr. Centennial Post 209, Colorado Springs Colorado is a 501(c)(19) not-for-profit veterans-service organization and part of The American Legion, consisting of over 2 million members in 14,000 American Legion posts worldwide. Members include veterans and active duty members of the US Army, US Navy, US Marine Corps, US Air Force, US Space Force, US Coast Guard and World War II US Merchant Marines. The American Legion is a patriotic veteran organization, devoted to mutual helpfulness and serving all veterans as well as our local communities. American Legion Post 209 began forming in 1975 and was formally chartered in 1976. The post has grown to become the largest American Legion post in the state of Colorado.
